Jennie Jordan is a consultant specializing in organizational development, leadership training, executive coaching, team building, career development and customer service. Jennie has worked with leaders in corporate, government, education and non-profit environments for fifteen years. Clients have included Scripps Health, UPS, Cal State San Marcos, North County Transit District and Domino’s Pizza.
Jennie has provided in-house leadership training for over 20 organizations. While at Callaway Golf, she designed and managed the leadership training program for the company’s 250 leaders. She wrote curriculum for and taught 12 of the 26 courses and partnered with trainers, executives and subject matter experts to create the remaining 14 courses. Her leadership certificate program sustained a 19-month wait-list with evaluation scores of 4.45 to 4.84 on a 5-point scale. In addition to consulting and training long term with individual corporations, Jennie is the sole instructor of the Management Breakthrough, People Productivity Certificate for the Extended Learning Program at California State University, San Marcos. She also creates customized leadership training programs for clients of the university.
Organizational Development and Executive Coaching
Jennie has provided organizational development support and executive coaching for 10 organizations. Projects have included strategic planning, vision alignment, job retention, downsizing, consolidation, process improvement, building teams and creating communication bridges between teams and divisions in crisis. Interventions included needs analysis, coaching, change management and training.
Jennie designed and presented the initial training for the Scripps Health Leadership Mentoring Program, launched in 2005. While at Callaway Golf, Jennie designed, taught and managed the Career Development Mentoring Program in which 50% of the 120 protégés obtained new jobs and 25% returned to school within six months.
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Assessment
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Assessment changed Jennie’s life and she uses it to facilitate that same change in others. She has administered the assessment in 25 organizations to over 2,200 people in the last ten years. She uses the assessment to help determine leadership style, build teams, manage employees, resolve conflict, reduce stress, identify career options, understand teaching and learning styles and improve communication at work and at home.
In line with her passion for developing people, Jennie has facilitated career transition workshops for private industry, government, the military and individuals for ten years. Her six to 40-hour workshops include assessments, skill analysis, research, resumes, networking, goal setting, labor market research and interviewing.
Jennie has taught Customer Service in corporate, education and government settings. Results include the implementation of instruction tags that saved $200,000 a year in product repairs and new procedures reducing internal deliveries from three days to one.
